Holly Duke is the Director of Leadership and Engagement with Ron Brown Scholar Program – a highly competitive national scholarship program and leadership community for African American youth.
After earning an MS of Rehabilitation Psychology from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Holly worked in higher education as a college counselor for over a decade at UNC, Duke, and University of Virginia School of Law before changing careers to the nonprofit sector in 2013.
She attends Sojourners United Church of Christ where she first met Alyssa and her family in 2010. Alyssa’s exultant spirit and fierce perseverance is an inspiration to Holly, as it is to everyone touched by the life of this remarkable girl.
